Upland Game Bird Hunt
At High Plains Game Ranch you have the chance to harvest rooster pheasants, Chukar partridge and Hungarian Partidge (in season) to fulfill your 3 bird limit. Extra birds may be taken at an additional charge. You are able to bring and work your own hunting dog, however a guide and hunting dogs will be furnished for you as well.

Each hunting day begins at 10 a.m. and a break around noon will allow for lunch. High Plains Game Ranch has facilities for bird cleaning and will help in packaging your birds for taking home.

Each Pheasant Hunt Includes:
Clay Shoot Warm-up
Guide
In Field Transportation (we are able to cater to disabled hunters)
Dogs
Use of lodge
Bird cleaning facilities

License Requirements:
(Note: We do not sell licenses at the ranch. You must buy them online or at a store before arriving for your hunt.)

Residents – Same licenses required to hunt that species off a preserve.
Non-Residents – One of the following required:
• Non-resident shooting preserve license.
• Same license as needed to hunt that species off a preserve.

What to bring on the hunt:
An article of Blaze Orange is suggested on all hunts.
Shooting Glasses are suggested.Use of #4 – 6 lead shot or #2 steel for upland hunts.
Comfortable water proof hunting boots and foul weather gear.
Comfortable clothes (dress in layers).
Bags or cooler for your birds.
Canteen, snacks and lunch.
Bring your camera.

Deer & Antelope Packages
We invite muzzleloaders, black power cartridge and archery hunters to a quiet and traditional type hunt. These are held during seasons as set by Game Fish and Parks.

4-Day Semi-Guided Hunt Includes:Meals, Lodging, Guide
and In Field Transportation
50% Deposit Non-Refundable

What to bring on the hunt:
An article of Blaze Orange is suggested on all hunts.

.45 – .60 caliber for muzzleloader/black powder cartridge hunts.
50 lbs. or more for archery hunts.
Comfortable water proof hunting boots and foul weather gear.
Comfortable clothes (dress in layers).
Canteen, snacks and lunch.
Bring your camera.
