The Cooks

Most day hunters bring their own brown bag lunches. However, you have full access to the kitchen facilities if needed. Meal accommodations can be provided for your hunting party if desired. Breakfast, lunch, supper or all three can be provided by our in-house cooks and as a bonus it should be noted that all the beef used at HPGR is ranch raised by the Vallerys.

Rhonda Vallery is head cook at HPGR and best known for her award winning pies, though anything that comes out of her kitchen is good. She is the one who coordinates all meals and dietary needs for hunters.

Sherry Wells is the most adventurous cook of the bunch. She and her husband, Fred, are publishers of the HPGR Wild Game Cook Book which features many recipes perfected by Sherry herself.
